Primary responsibilities will be to support the Manager and Producer, Impact Communications. He/she will also assist in other impact communications tasks – helping to tell the No Kid Hungry story.

Organize photos from documenting field work on sharepoint

Organize videos from various No Kid Hungry events on sharepoint, YouTube and Vimeo to maximize views and use

Help develop a system of tagging to make videos, photos and graphics easily accessible to whole staff on SharePoint

Assist with shooting and editing videos designed to thank No Kid Hungry corporate partners

Assisting other members of communication team with writing and research of best practices

Provide assistance when needed with other Communications tasks, including public relations, online development and social media.

College credit or a small stipend is available.

Reports to: Manager and Producer, Impact Communications

Duration: September 30, 2013 – December 20, 2013

Required Skills

Fluency of Microsoft Office applications required and preferable experience with sharepoint.

Strong writing and editing skills.

Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.

Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to maintain strong professional relationships with a range of groups, volunteers and associates both in person and by writing/phone.

Excellent problem-solving and implementation skills.

Must be proactive, willing to learn and a self-starter.

Experiencing shooting video on DSLR camera systems and/or editing on Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro 7 is a plus.
