Qualifications: Candidate should be seeking a career in marketing, public relations, management or related field. Candidate should be self-motivated, able to multi-task and function well in a busy media environment with an enthusiasm for learning all aspects of the business. Candidate should be prompt, proactive, inquisitive, professional at all times and hold excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, advertising campaigns and visual design. Experience in working with websites and content management systems as well as being technology savvy are strong points.

Duties: Please Note: Students @ Work Internships Program dates are 1/27 – 4/4. Interns are paid at minimum-wage and relocation is not provided. Students must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, students may not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship (i.e. STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN SCHOOL DURING THE TIME OF THIS INTERNSHIP). Students seeking college credit are strongly encouraged to apply. Note to International Students: All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to your arrival if accepted to the program.

Marketing Intern Duties:

– Assist the marketing department in the production process of affiliate marketing initiatives, including print, web and on-air production. Post promotional support will also be required.
– The marketing operations intern will be responsible for overseeing our Media Watch initiative, which includes monitoring various platforms for the promotion of Turner’s programs. Will require use of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat.
– TurnerResources.com – assist the web master in content management, online publication and QA testing.
– The intern will be expected to complete one research project and one instructional design project by the end of their term.
