The AE on this account will support the social media team.
This individual will work under an Account Supervisor and assist on the account’s major social campaigns and lead the day to day engagement under the guidance of the AS.
This individual must have a solid understanding of social process and social media platforms.
An AE who will succeed in this role is one who can handle multiple projects at once. Timelines can be short so being able to understand urgency while also staying calm under pressure is a must. An attention to detail is also key especially social media. They must have client-facing experience and communicate in a clear and direct manner with excellent written skills in both internal communication (briefs/emails/etc) and external (emails/conference reports/etc).
Automotive experience is not required, but is beneficial.
Social media experience is also not required, but beneficial.
Thorough understanding of client’s business and marketing and advertising:

  • Clear understanding of competitive environment – business-wise, communications-wise, media-wise
  • In depth knowledge of industry and trends
  • Work with AS/AD to provide the best information possible to inform creative and strategic development
  • Work with community management team and strategy team inform day to day social business
  • POV on current strong/successful campaigns
  • Working knowledge of KBS+P clients and capabilities

Proven ability to manage agency projects from start to finish:

  • Working knowledge of agency processes
  • Ability to fairly and appropriately communicate between client and key agency functions – especially creative
  • Oversee materials preparation for client and creative meetings
  • Ability to work across medium and ensure message and creative consistency. Includes: digital, CRM, mobile, broadcast, social media, events, promotions et al.
  • Understanding of the planning process
  • Solid writing skills – involvement in developing client presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and managers simultaneously
  • Strong presentation skills – seek opportunities to present to clients

Proven ability to manage money:

  • Ultimate responsibility for estimates and billing
  • Manage all client finances and spending with each department
  • Day-to-day budget maintenance and tracking

Be the agency “go-to” across disciplines:

  • Primary internal & external day-to-day executional contact – ability to implement communications plan
  • Be indispensable to your team – managing projects, keeping superiors informed, asking for and taking direction as necessary
  • Be the respected “go-to” person for PM, production, art buying and all internal counterparts – the one who keeps everyone on track
  • Become the key contact for junior clients – handle day to day requests and inquiries
  • Be the “brand steward” – ALWAYS check colors, logos, copyright, etc. before anything goes out the door
