The NYTimes.com marketing department is seeking a part-time (maximum 20 hours per week) intern to assist staff in many projects and administrative duties. The intern will have a unique opportunity to learn about brand and digital marketing at NYTimes.com. The intern will gain experience in all aspects of digital marketing, from online display to SEM to social-networking.
Duties: · Prepare andanalyze monthly Excel reports on the performance of marketing activity forselectNYTimes.cominitiatives. · Analyze select marketing adson a weekly basis. · Provide reporting and analysis of the effectiveness of media and creative; recommend enhancements to current campaigns. · Assist in the development and trafficking of marketing creative. · Track competitive trends and monitor NYTimes.com site usage data. · Maintain the marketing Wiki. · Provide general assistancewithmarketing activities of NYTimes.com.
 Qualifications: · A current college student · Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word& Powerpoint. · Beginner to intermediateknowledge ofHTML and Javascript. ·
· Online Ad Trafficking experienceisa plus. · Excellent analytical skills. · Strong organization, project management and time management skills as well as the ability to multitask. · Team player with a strong work ethic.
