Student Internship Description
The ECU School of Dental Medicine (SoDM) Director of External Affairs is seeking a student who would like an unpaid internship for the spring semester of 2014. The internship will include these tasks among others:
- Assisting in planning and executing special events
- Writing for the school’s Web site
- Feature writing for the school’s newsletter
- Creating Excel spreadsheets
- Making phone calls to external constituents
- Taking photos at special events
- Assisting with tours of Ross Hall
- Conducting Internet research
Intern must be dependable, friendly, and eager to work. The SoDM uses Mac computers, but if intern is unfamiliar with Macs, assistance will be given. Knowledge of Excel program will be a plus.
