QVC’s Talent Department is currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual for our Winter/Spring Internship Program. This is a very competitive FULL-TIME internship that will offer you an inside look into the workings of one of the world’s largest multimedia retailers and a variety of hands-on experiences.
Key coordinator for meetings and studio sessions.
Assists with product acquisition, delivery, set-up and demonstrations for meetings and rehearsals.
Interacts with Vendors and On-Air Talent.
Works closely with the Image Team on invoices, model schedules and forecasting templates.
Does research and provides information to support social media initiatives.
Studio/equipment set-up, strike and recording of all trainings and auditions.
Assists Fashion Stylist on special projects.
Occasionally works with the studio team to communicate programming changes impacting the live broadcast and assists guests arriving for the broadcast.
Assists in execution of Guest Certification Seminar, including welcoming guests, classroom set-up, securing product information, studio/equipment set-up and strike, assisting guests throughout the rehearsal process, and recording guest rehearsals.
Copy rehearsals and auditions as needed.
Assists in meeting preparations as needed (PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
Administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Must be available full-time: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university at the Bachelor or Master’s level.
Completed at least four semesters of college in Broadcasting, Communications or PR.
Must have reliable transportation.
Understanding of basic studio technology.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with social media.
Friendly people-person is a must!
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and work independently.
Ability to work at an accelerated pace in a high-volume environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Preferred Requirements:
Recent and relevant internship experience strongly preferred.
