PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE

Position oversees the overall administration of the office of the Founder , Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Responsible for the coordination of the office employing full understanding of the business, priorities of each department and brand philosophy. Proactive management of projects and issues as they arise as well overseeing the position that provides the day to day administration of Founder’s calendar.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Act as a lead person in ensuring that all activities for the Founder are in place, set up in advance and in accordance with identified specifications.

Act on behalf of the Founder with incoming inquiries. Responds appropriately with scheduling , delegating or dismissing requests consistent with Founder’s priorities. Personally handles requests directly where appropriate.

Liaison with Senior Management to ensure the Founder’s requests are being met; follow up on behalf of Founder with regards to current projects, pending deadlines, etc.

Manage busy calendar including coordinating appointments and meetings

*
Attend meetings with Founder both locally and when traveling outside of NYO/Montclair to take notes and develop follow up and summarize action points to issue.

Liaise between Creative departments and Public Relations department to ensure that all arrangements have been made to support any activities related directly to the Founder.

Coordinate and organize charity events working with the Community Outreach team and Public Relations and initiate problem resolution where appropriate

*
Supervise Administrative Assistant who will manage all administrative functions for the Founder’s office.

Writes internal brand newsletter in the voice of the brand

Qualifications:
Qualifications

*
Position requires 5 years executive/administrative experience in a corporate environment.
*
Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills required.
*
Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MAC
*
Job involves working in Soho and Montclair offices
*
Strong verbal and written communication skills
*
Ability to anticipate problems and resolve independently
*
Strong Project Management Skills
*
Ability to work in a professional environment
