Bentley Marketing & Public Relations Intern Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. – Herndon, VA

Dates of Internship: December 2013 – May 2014

• Assist Public Relations team with product launches, media outreach, social media, archiving of historical assets, organization and collection of post-event media clippings and press release distribution
• Assist Marketing team with marketing materials, event preparation and customer care outreach
• Develop and prepare business review and planning documents for Marketing and Public Relations
• Analysis and reporting of Marketing and Public Relations data
• Support the team in preparation for presentations
• Miscellaneous special project support
• Process check requests and other administrative support

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a University/College or Graduation date must be within the last six months
• Financial/business acumen through college courses or job- related experience
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual thinking—using logic and reason, creative and strategic
• Communication skills—interpersonal, presentation and written
• Computer savvy—skilled in the use of software and good knowledge of MS Office toolset
• Ability to time manage and split responsibilities between different departments and teams
