Mitchell Communications Group, a rapidly growing, national award-winning strategic communications firm, is proud to offer Big Break, our fourth annual all-expense-paid internship for emerging talent. Held March 17-22, 2014, this mini internship allows college seniors to gain an in-depth understanding of the communications industry, while also garnering valuable agency work experience.
Lodging and meals will be provided, as well as a transportation stipend. Students must be willing to participate in this program in our Fayetteville, AR office from Monday, March 17 until Saturday, March 22. Specific travel times will be discussed with student(s) selected.
Duties:
Big Break participants will work with their assigned teams to prepare and present a comprehensive communications plan for addressing the business needs of a local non-profit organization. Students will communicate and work with other members in a team atmosphere with the opportunity to attend team meetings as well.
Qualifications:
•Current college senior
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Good editing skills and knowledge of Associated Press style.
•Organized and self-motivated, deadline and detail-oriented.
•Ability to coordinate multiple tasks/projects.
•Good interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
•Professional image.
•Willingness to assist where needed.
