The Kaplow Internship Program is accepting resumes for Spring 2014

Successful candidates will learn first-hand about the practice of traditional and digital/social public relations from one of the leading consumer PR agencies, working with top professionals on programs for well-known consumer brands. In addition to earning college credits, interns will:

• Receive training and develop their skills by attending brainstorms, strategy sessions, conference calls, meetings and events for clients in fashion, beauty, life style and consumer technology;

• Gain hands-on experience working on client projects and interacting with the media;

• Learn about the changing role of PR in both traditional and digital arenas; and

• Collaborate with fellow interns on a group project to present a POV/solution on a current public relations topic.

Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree program in Public Relations or related field

Available 3 days per week

Solid verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Working knowledge of social media

Basic understanding of Microsoft Office

Must appreciate and demonstrate the power of communication
