Internship
Relief Communications, LLC, is accepting internship applications for spring and/or summer positions. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and committed individual to assist in all aspects of public relations consulting organization. This internship is a wonderful opportunity to learn and explore all aspects of public relations in the non-profit community, and to work closely with a public relations consultant who specializes in the non-profit arena with a wide variety of projects. The position involves assisting at clients’ events all over the Greater Philadelphia region, writing, getting to know the local media market, and administrative support. Ongoing projects include Historic Philadelphia, Inc. and Franklin Square programs, preparing for AIDS Walk Philly and other AIDS Fund programs, and ongoing projects with the renowned Mural Arts Program, among others.
Because the business located in the suburbs, applicant must have access to a car. Internships are open to students with a background in communications or public relations. Work days are Mondays and Wednesdays.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of PC
Detail-oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently
