The Family Wellness Center, PLLC is a behavioral health practice which has offices in Greenville, Washington & Williamston. The practice was founded in 2007 by David Bell, PhD, LMFT, LCAS & treats children, adolescents, adults & families with a multitude of issues (please see attached brochures). In addition to office hours, therapists also work within the Beaufort & Martin county school systems, providing therapy to children & their families within the school. The practice accepts Medicaid & most major insurances & has the ability to request state funding for clients who qualify as indigent.
Job Description:
The qualified individual will need to present with confidence & knowledge of marketing within the human services community. The practice will provide training regarding details of the services offered; experience within the mental / behavioral health field is preferred, but not necessary. Individual will not be required to work a “set schedule”, but the practice would like a minimum of 5 hrs/week in the field marketing along with checking in with the practice manager & director as needed throughout the week.
*community outreach : visiting & circulating brochures to local primary care & pediatrician offices, day care centers, after school centers, etc.; educating the public as to the services provided by FWC
*community development: visiting & meeting with local businesses for the purpose of networking; FWC is a member of Pitt County Chamber of Commerce & the practice is looking to develop with the other businesses within the Chamber.
*community involvement: researching relevant opportunities with the community which FWC may participate with, ex: health expos & conventions; intern may be required to attend some events if needed
