Salvatore Ferragamo seeks Merchandising interns for the Spring 2014 semester. This position will provide a valuable learning experience for those interested in the day-to-day operations of a luxury goods environment. We are seeking college students who can receive school credit and have a love for fashion as well as an interest in merchandising. Previous internship experience a plus! Merchandising Intern Functions: The intern will assist the Merchandising staff with functions such as following up with stores regarding weekly inter-store consolidations, preparation of the Seasonal Product Knowledge resources, and seasonal competitive analysis project, as well as performing various administrative duties as needed. In addition, the Intern will have an opportunity to observe the function of and interaction between integral departments of Ferragamo USA. The ideal candidate should be extremely proactive and work well in a fast paced team oriented environment. Excel knowledge is a must. This internship is unpaid and are available to those receiving school credit only. A letter from your school confirming that you can receive school credit must be provided when applying for the internship.
