Hill+Knowlton Strategies Internship, Corporate Communications
Hill+Knowlton Strategies is seeking an intern to support the Corporate Communications practice group in the Washington, D.C., office. This is a formal internship designed to introduce you to the day-to-day business of a strategic communications firm and to help you develop the essential written and oral communicative skills required to conduct public relations activities. The internship is merely step one toward what will become a fulfilling career for many.
Interns will be assigned to work with a mid-level liaison on their respective team. Assignments are generally made on the basis of staffing needs for each client account, but whenever possible, we will match the assignment with the intern’s personal skills and interests.
We require immediate and full-time availability throughout the program (minimum 40 hours per week) for up to 6 months. Part-time availability not permitted.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related (recent graduate)
Previous PR internship or relevant leadership role at college/university (previous technology or B2B corporate PR experience a plus)
Strong writing, social media, and research skills
Desire for a career in corporate communications PR!
Compensation: $15/hour + overtime eligible (+40 hours/week)
