Position Summary
The intern supports the Account Services and Project Management teams for a healthcare advertising and communications agency by assisting with project data entry, project tracking, creating training or process manuals, and assisting in the trafficking and activities required to complete internal and external projects on time and on budget.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor degree, preferably in marketing or business field or actively pursuing degree
- Previous agency internship ideal
- Demonstrated leadership experience/potential
- College leadership experience preferred (student government, fraternity or sorority leadership role, RA, newspaper, yearbook etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage numerous projects, requests, and responsibilities with limited direction
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
Strong verbal and written communications
Position Responsibilities
Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:
- Work front-line with Account Executives and Project Managers and gain experience in Project Management, Advertising and Digital Marketing
- Become familiar with key tools and best practices used to do business
- Implement workflows and processes
- Work with project schedules and budgets and receive hands-on training in widely used project management software
Participates in professional growth and development
- Attends Company sponsored in-services and/or continuing education
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations as necessary
Participates in other activities:
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
- Cross trains in other positions as requested.
- Willing to work extra hours to meet impending deadlines
