Undergraduate Summer Intern for Z. Smith Reynolds Non-Profit Internship Program

Through a partnership with the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, Parents for Public Schools is seeking an undergraduate student to serve as a Digital Communications Associate for Summer 2015.

The PPS Digital Communications Associate’s role will be to upgrade the PPS Website, Facebook, and Twitter accounts as well as to produce Public Service Announcement spots highlighting Pitt County School graduates who are successful in their careers.

The Associate will work with United Way, Chamber of Commerce, and PPS professionals as well as school officials and community leaders. He/she will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of video editing and production while also growing their portfolio of video projects.

Interns will receive a $3200 stipend for the 8-week, full time position. Applicants must have received a federal Pell grant this academic year and be enrolled full-time in a four-year North Carolina college or university or be a North Carolina resident enrolled full-time in a four-year accredited college outside the state.
