NC Health News is looking for a summer reporting intern. You must have an interest in health-oriented reporting. This internship is paid (for students in the School of Media and Journalism) a total of $1,000 for the summer.
NC Health News is perhaps the best news site focused on health care news, policy etc. It’s editor is top notch and previous interns have had great things to say about the experience.—Jay E.
Here is some info from the Editor, Rose Hoban:
The student I need would work about two days a week with me, mostly at the legislature. I anticipate that the Leg session, which will start April 25, will be done by early August this year, if not sooner.
Any time not spent at the legislature would be spent out in the field doing other stories that I assign.
