QEP Seeking Fall 2016 Graduate Assistant

The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), an institution-wide initiative to help students improve their writing skills, seeks a graduate assistant for fall 2016. The person hired for the position will
Assist students and faculty with the process of uploading materials to the University Writing Portfolio (a QEP initiative),
Revise and, as needed, develop new training materials related to the use of the University Writing Portfolio,
Assist the QEP Director in various writing-related projects, including planning for the summer 2017 Eastern NC Writing Symposium.

Applicants should have strong communication skills and should be comfortable working with faculty and students, both individually and in the classroom. They should also have a flexible schedule that will allow them to work more of their hours near end of the semester, when demand for assistance with the University Writing Portfolio is highest.

This can be a 10 or 20-hour assistantship.
