Description:
Ten-week internship available for summer 2011 with upscale, glossy lifestyle magazine on Cape Cod. Academic credit only. Intern will be expected to coordinate independent study/course with his/her college as either current student or post-graduate. Suggested 2-to-4-hour course of study; we will help you build the curriculum, if desired. Topics covered: Reporting, cultivating sources, feature writing, all facets of editing, layout and design, photography and more. Opportunity to have intensive hands-on magazine production experience, build impressive clip file and study applied journalism topics in two-hour seminars each week from editor/college instructor.
