The Marketing Manager reports directly to the Advertising and Marketing Administrator. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities and functions related to marketing Pirate Media 1 on and off campus as well as work closely with the Sales Manager to build clientele and off-campus awareness. This position provides real-life experience in strategic marketing, marketing planning, marketing analysis, content marketing, and advertising and promotions. The Marketing Manager works across all Pirate Media 1 divisions to develop, maintain, and execute effective marketing campaigns that promote the Pirate Media 1 brand. The Marketing Manager is also responsible for planning and leading production of the annual Agency business features publication. The Marketing Manager works closely with the Sales Manager and develops relationships with all Student Media Executives to foster large-scale staff involvement in outreach events across platforms is a key role of this position. Must be able to lead and motivate a diverse team. Interested applicants must be a student currently enrolled at East Carolina University, possess and maintain a minimum 2.25 GPA and be in good disciplinary and academic standing with ECU.
