We deploy versatile digital strategies for ambitious organizations to connect and convert their customers. Our team is currently seeking a Copywriting/Content Creation Intern that is driven, detail-oriented, and professional.
Overall Job Purpose:
The Copywriting Intern is responsible for collaborating on a wide range of content creation initiatives for our clients. This position is great if you enjoy writing purposeful and goal-driven content that will help local businesses grow and expand. The Copywriting Intern will gain hands-on experience writing blogs, articles, and services/product content for a wide variety of industries and specialty services. You will utilize the most up-to-date Search Engine Optimization tactics in your writing to ensure the content is poised for SEO success.
Requirements:
- Organized and creative
- Strong writing & editing skills
- Detail-oriented
- Undergraduate student of East Carolina University or Pitt Community College
- Digitally savvy
- Ability to work in-office 12-20 hours per week, for 12 weeks
Preferred:
- Background in creative writing or journalism
Key Duties:
- Conceptualize, research, write, edit and manage website content that drives high engagement
- Write articles and website content
- Help with additional engagement and website content projects as needed to achieve our business goals
- Write/edit creative collateral (ads, flyers, email promotions, etc.)
- Write/edit blog posts
- Create social media calendars and Google My Business Posts
