RTI seeks Technology Media Intern for spring 2021 – virtual and paid!
The Technology Media Intern will support RTI’s technology strategy and customer experience leadership, with an eye on developing engaging digital materials to support the team’s communication and learning needs. The intern will be tasked with creating video content around RTI’s technology strategies to improve reach and engagement. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Producing illustrative digital content and building out a video library to help drive communication and understanding around RTI’s technology strategies
- Collaborating with leadership and communications staff around branding alignment, and assessment of reach and engagement metrics
- Developing additional supportive visual or written materials as needed
RTI’s Internship Program emphasizes experiential and mentored learning experiences, providing students and recent degree recipients an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge and skills in a meaningful and practical way. Additional Information
This paid virtual internship will take place from February 2021 through April 2021. The internship requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week. Hours are flexible during business hours, Monday through Friday.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies with coursework in visual media, business development, computer science, or commercialization
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design and video production
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce high-quality work for executive review
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Perferred Qualifications
- Advanced skills related to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite
