Public Relations Intern with NC Stop Human Trafficking

Public Relations Intern Job Description:

A successful public relations intern candidate will be passionate about the anti-human trafficking movement in North Carolina, comfortable with networking and developing connections within the community and within the university and be a creative problem solver. A successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The public relations intern will be tasked with:

  • Daily Social Media posts
  • Weekly e-newsletter
  • Create brochures, flyers, mailings as needed
  • Update website as needed
  • Staff table at speaking engagements, community events
  • Ability to craft press releases and media advisories
  • Developing and fostering relationships with community leaders and media partners
