Columbia University is pleased to offer an opportunity for your students with the Internship for Building Community Summer 2023 Program. We are hiring over 100 Program & Residential Life Assistants who will coordinate community-building events and workshops, supervise students in the residence halls, and support daily logistics for Columbia University’s High School Summer Immersion Program.

This internship includes room and board at Columbia University in the City of New York, and is $18/hr working approximately 35 hours per week.
While not directly a part of our internship program, we do also have open positions to work with our Academic Affairs team as well for those looking to be more directly involved with the courses of our high school programs. For those interested in such a Course Facilitator role, they may find more information in the Program Jobs tab of our website linked below.
We currently have four scheduled virtual information sessions for interested students to learn more about the IBC program and its open positions, the application process, and answer any questions they may have.
