JOB SUMMARY
ECU Sports Properties is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Intern in Greenville, NC. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist and develop strategic social media, marketing and communications strategies that support ECU Sports Properties and ECU Athletics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to the following):
• Assist with developing a comprehensive social media marketing plan for ECU Sports Properties
• When requested, have the ability to take photos and conduct interviews with ECU coaches and student-athletes at official ECU Athletics practices, press conferences and sporting events
• Research best social media marketing practices
• Represent Playfly Sports, ECU Sports Properties and the University in a professional manner
• Must be able to work a minimum of 5 – 10 office hours per week
• Ability to attend ECU sporting events, which may include evenings and weekends
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited four-year university. Preference given to ECU students.
