Overview:
The Durham Bulls are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to fill the Graphics Trainee position for the 2024 season.
Responsibilities: Main duties will be to assist in the following:
- Creating video & static graphics for the Durham Bulls, as well as other sports divisions including Coastal Plain League, Holly Springs Salamanders and Greenville CPL team.
- Game Day Program production.
- Creation of video board content, email marketing graphics, print collateral, signage projects, social media graphics.
- Photo and video shoot concepts and production.
- In-stadium graphics and managing graphic design requests for CPL teams and other departments within the Durham Bulls.
Other Duties:
- Expected to work and assist during assigned events held at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
- Other general Front Office duties – including assisting with hiring events, special events, and other general duties involving working in a Minor League Front Office.
Qualification Requirements:
- Experience working or proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Adobe In Design, Photoshop
- Experience with graphic design, video post-production and social media
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
- People oriented, able to multi-task, organized, motivated and detail focused.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and all events.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible and adaptive to constructive feedback, ever changing requests and be able to take direction and work under last-minute and tight deadlines.
Pay Rate: $10/hr
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work in areas and conditions that are often noisy, have many distractions, and in various weather conditions. Must be able to work inside and outside, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and move with up to 50lbs in many environments including outdoors and in extreme weather conditions.
