Overview:
The Durham Bulls Baseball Club is searching for an Entertainment and Promotions Trainee who will assist the Director of Promotions and learn how to effectively convey visions for the Durham Bulls game entertainment experience while bringing fun, creative visions to life.
Responsibilities:
- Help the Durham Bulls game presentation team conceptualize and execute the best in-game show/experience in all of sports.
- Assist Director of Promotions in preparing game day needs such as game information sheets, pre-game timing sheets, scripts, and other run of show documents.
- Assist in ideation and execution of promotional theme nights.
- Assist venue staff (video board design, audio/visual, on-field staff, mascot, and PA announcer) in collaborating to produce all elements of the Durham Bulls in-game experience.
- Learn different elements of game day production.
- Assist in coordinating graphic and music elements for game days.
- Assist in coordination and execution of community relations programs and events.
- Assist Marketing Department in misc. activities and projects.
Other Duties:
- Expected to work and assist during assigned events held at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
- Other general Front Office duties – including assisting with hiring events, special events, and other general duties involving working in a Minor League Front Office.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and all events.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible and adaptive to constructive feedback, ever changing requests and be able to take direction and work under last-minute and tight deadlines.
Pay Rate: $10/hr
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work in areas and conditions that are often noisy, have many distractions, and in various weather conditions. Must be able to work inside and outside, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and move with up to 50lbs in many environments including outdoors and in extreme weather conditions.
