New Quizzes in ModulesNew Quizzes can now be created when adding quizzes to a module. What is New Quizzes?New Quizzes is an assessment engine that provides an improved interface for creating quizzes/tests. The original quiz engine, called Classic Quizzes, is still available for instructors not using New Quizzes.
Once the assignment has been reassigned, students will find it in their assignments list. |

Desktop recordings in Canvas are done in Studio, which is accessed from your main menu. You now can organize your recordings by using using Collections. Collections, like folders, make organizing and finding media easier. Collections can also be shared, inside Canvas, with other ECU users. Neat tool to use!
Canvas’ desktop recording solution. Easy to use and allows annotating while recording, I have been told by Canvas trainers that best practice for teaching and studio is to not record for longer than 30 minutes at a time. This works well for chunking.
Even if you are teaching in BB you can open your Canvas course for Spring 2020 to make use of this feature and/or switch it all now!
Canvas Studio is a communication tool that allows instructors and students to actively collaborate through video and audio media. Students can submit a video as part of any project and teachers can leave comments throughout.
BB upgrades included integration of WebEx in Blackboard, an attendance tool and the ability to add Audio/Video Feedback to students work. More information can be found below.
