This was a day of living history, community voices, and flood survival stories, celebrating America’s First incorporated Black Town. Participants met the town’s young citizens who are working to preserve its heritage and other key personalities who shape the town. The presentations included sketches for plans to revitalize Princeville for its residents and for heritage tourism.
