Internship Description
Athletic Edge is currently in search of softball and baseball instructors with high
levels of experience in pitching, catching, and/or hitting. Upon internship acceptance,
trainers will be asked which skills and age groups they are qualified to teach.
Instructors will be paid while receiving credit hours toward their degrees. Pay is
determined by the amount of lessons, skill clinics, etc. the intern performs. Each
intern will document his or her hours and/or training sessions, and an Athletic Edge
supervisor will oversee the process. The pay status of the internship will be reviewed
with the applicant before accepting the position. Each sports instructor is required to
provide individual lessons, small group lessons, skill clinics, and assist with additional
AE Sports Center duties and events for a minimum of 140 hours within the semester.
Instructors will have access to 6 batting cages and our HitTrax training development
