Internship Description
Spay Today is a 501c3 non-profit organization providing low-cost, high volume spay/neuter services to Pitt and surrounding areas. We are seeking a creative and engaged intern to support our current social media staff and bring ideas to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue. The right intern should have strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media platforms and websites.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to website development project
- Brainstorm and research ideas for original content on various platforms
- Create compelling graphics to share across social channels
- Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
- Assist with online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
- Optimize website and social media
- Develop new strategies for increasing engagement
- Assist with photo/video content shoots
- Ensure brand message is consistent
- Track social media engagement
Requirements

- Availability on Fridays to work with site coordinator
