One of the most important and complex of these technical services is desktop computer support. The College of Nursing (CON) is an academic unit within the Division of Academic Affairs at East Carolina University.
Job DutiesThis position will design, plan, and support the media production efforts associated with programs and activities of the College of Nursing. This position will develop videos and photography for instruction and promotion. This position will work collaboratively with the existing technology support team in video and photo production endeavors. This position reports to the ECU College of Nursing IT Director.
Minimum Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience related to the area of assignment in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
License or Certification required by statute or regulationNone
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/EducationExperience with:- Multimedia creation and delivery- Audio/visual electronic equipment- Recording and production of high-level videos for education as well as promotion- Promotional photography as well as event documentation
– Final Cut or Premiere for video production
– Adobe Photoshop for photo productionFamiliarity with Apple computer systems
Familiarity with Nikon camera systems
License or Certification required by the DepartmentNone
