Apply

Description

Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside league office staff members in any areas they desire from media and marketing to expansion research – we want our interns to grow and learn during this experience.

Overall we feel this internship offers students the rare opportunity to have a true role within an organization while gathering valuable experience that will help them secure their desired jobs upon graduating from college.

Please DO NOT apply for this internship if you are not willing to commit for the full summer or work holidays that fall in this time frame. The season runs from May 25th – August 13th; and with a small staff and lots of games occurring each day across four states, your assistance each day is vital to our operation.

  • Must maintain an accurate spreadsheet of all active and released players throughout the season
  • Must send out the official rosters each day after the 1 p.m. roster change deadline
  • Must clear players for both CPL and NCAA Eligibility rules as directed by league office staff.
  • Outside of roster control, interns will be asked to help with other daily duties around the league office.

Qualifications:

  • Current college student or recent graduate with education focused on Sports Management, Communications, Operations Management, or similar.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • A firm understanding of baseball is required.
  • Candidate must be able to work the full season (May 25-August 13), including holidays and some light weekend work (a couple of hours).
