As Director of the ERHD program, it always gives me great pleasure to ANNOUNCE our new set of ERHD graduates. Our two new ERHD graduates are:
- Eunicia Jones
- Jacquaya Reel
Eunicia and Jacquaya completed their final ERHD course this summer — MPH 6009 Capstone Experience in Ethnic Health and Health Disparities. In addition to completing the assignments, both had to complete a Capstone proposal which reflected their total understanding and new set of research skills that they learned from completing all the three ERHD courses.
The two ERHD Capstone projects were entitled:
- “Community Wellness among African American Teens” by Eunicia Jones
- “A Proposed Intervention to Address Homicide and Suicide among Black Female Adolescents in the United States” by Jacquaya Reel
Both Capstone proposals were very insightful, innovative, and culturally-competent!! Theses two capstone proposals are representative of the types of final proposals from all of our ERHD graduates.
Here is a photo of Eunicia “Niecie” Jones.
Congrats again to Eunicia “Niecie” Jones and Jacquaya Reel for completing your ERHD Graduate Certificate program.
