New 2018 ERHD Graduates – Eunicia Jones and Jacquaya Reel

As Director of the ERHD program, it always gives me great pleasure to ANNOUNCE our new set of ERHD graduates. Our two new ERHD graduates are:

  • Eunicia Jones
  • Jacquaya Reel

Eunicia and Jacquaya completed their final ERHD course this summer — MPH 6009 Capstone Experience in Ethnic Health and Health Disparities. In addition to completing the assignments, both had to complete a Capstone proposal which reflected their total understanding and new set of research skills that they learned from completing all the three ERHD courses.

The two ERHD Capstone projects were entitled:

  • “Community Wellness among African American Teens” by Eunicia Jones
  • “A Proposed Intervention to Address Homicide and Suicide among Black Female Adolescents in the United States” by Jacquaya Reel

Both Capstone proposals were very insightful, innovative, and culturally-competent!! Theses two capstone proposals are representative of the types of final proposals from all of our ERHD graduates.
