Oh hey there Panopto! Such a pleasure to finally meet you.
As mentioned before, ECU has selected PANOPTO as our new Lecture capture software.
What is panopto And why would you use it?
Panopto is a tool integrated into Canvas that makes working with video easy, and it can be used for recording lectures or presentations, uploading an existing video, or embedding videos with content in other parts of the Canvas site.
The Panopto implementation is still in the beginning stages, but my goal is to keep you all abreast as much as I can during the process. Next week, active Mediasite users will receive details about our transition to Panopto. The email will include an invitation for faculty to participate in the Panopto early adopter group. I would like to encourage all that currently use Mediasite to take advantage in this opportunity to learn more about our new lecture capture system —> Panopto.
